| Due to our current success we are now looking to recruit an Online Support Specialist to join our existing Online Support team. The role will report into an Online Support Team Leader the objective of the role is to provide technical support and a high quality service to our Online client base. The ideal candidate will have an excellent telephone manner and communication skills, and a willingness to serve our customers. Technical know how of the Internet, domains registration, email services and web hosting is essential. Your primary role will be solving technical queries promptly and effectively via email, live chat and over the telephone. You may be called upon to do jobs that fall outside your job description that you can reasonably be expected to perform. You must also be flexible to work outside core hours where necessary. You will be required to work on a shift pattern from 8:30am to 9pm - Monday to Friday. Skills/Experience Required The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate experience and/or competence in some or all of the following areas: - A clear understanding of domain name registration and web hosting.
- Demonstrable support skills on DNS, email software, web hosting platforms, ftp and web design tools.
- Ability to approach problems/ fault diagnosis in a systematic manner.
- Proven experience of handling customer interactions in a professional and positive manner.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and call handling skills.
- Ability to contribute to team goals and targets.
- Self motivated
